Three leaf ceiling fan manufacturer: reasons why the electric fan does not rotate

1. The first thing that comes to mind is that the motor lubrication is not good, and the shaft part needs to be lubricated with oil. I had this situation yesterday, where the electric fan blades were installed on top and the motor cannot be dragged. However, after removing it, the shaft can still operate normally, indicating that the motor is not damaged. How to determine if there is a shortage of oil? After disconnecting the power, you gently flick the fan blades and find that the rotation is a bit stiff, indicating that the oil is running out, and the rotation is very easy and smooth, indicating good lubrication. This is due to other reasons.

Secondly, you need to consider how long the electric fan has been used, and the motor will wear out. After the motor shaft sleeve wears out, it is easy to burn it out. Using the motor for a long time will also increase the internal resistance of the motor, reduce its load capacity, and make it unable to drive the fan blades to rotate.

3. Overheating of the motor can also cause a decrease in its load carrying capacity, resulting in a decrease in the active power of the motor and the inability to drive the load.

4. From the inside of the motor, there is a protective device, such as an overheated circuit breaker. If the coil winding is partially short circuited, the heat generation will sharply increase, causing the circuit breaker to break. In this case, the motor usually goes on strike. This rarely happens.

Another issue is that the starting capacitor capacity decreases. Although the parameters are written on the nameplate, over time, the capacitor capacity will decrease, resulting in a decrease in the starting torque of the motor and inability to drive the load. This is simple. Remove this capacitor and replace it with a new one. There should be no problem with the same model. But switching to a 20% larger one will yield better results.

6. Excessive axial clearance of the motor shaft can also cause the inability to drag the load. If the motor has been disassembled, the excessive axial clearance of the shaft should be adjusted by adjusting the gasket. When installing the motor, the rotor should be concentric with the bearing, and the screws should be slowly tightened diagonally. Then, use a wooden screwdriver to tap the shaft to make it concentric. Dismantling the motor is simple, but reinstalling it is not something that can be easily done. Do not let the above situation happen, otherwise it will be repaired and damaged directly.
